Our next tasting brings us back to the Willamette Valley of Oregon.
The tasting will be divided into 2 sections: The first will be a Vertical of Ribbon Ridge Winery - Ridgecrest Vineyard (2015-2019). Ribbon Ridge Winery is the premier boutique winery in the Chehalem Mountain/ Ribbon Ridge AVA.
The second part of the tasting will be a Horizontal tasting of 2018 Shea Wine Cellars, including other winemakers using Shea grapes.
Shea Wine Cellars is considered one of the "Grand Cru" producers of the Willamette Valley and 2018 was a near perfect vintage. Shea is located in the Yamhill Carlton AVA just across the valley from Ribbon Ridge. Both wineries are amongst the oldest most established wine producers in Oregon.
