Blu Livingston opened in April to rave reviews and remains a tough reservation to get. Blu transforms classic dishes into innovative modern masterpieces using only the finest ingredients that pair seamlessly with its outstanding wine list and spectacular craft cocktails. Wrapped in a posh, sophisticated ambiance and guided by flawlessly warm hospitality, the private dining experience at Blu isn’t just a dinner but an unforgettable culinary event.
The Dinner
Our dinner has been thoughtfully designed to showcase a progression of wines alongside a menu that balances bright, savory, and rich flavors. The evening will open with Bortolomiol Prosecco Brut Rosé, whose fresh fruit and lively acidity provide a refreshing complement to a spicy salmon and avocado purée rice cake.
From there, the menu builds in depth and intensity—pairing Alpasión Rosé with two savory bites, a red miso pork belly skewer and salmon nori taco, before moving into the evening’s main course of filet mignon, accompanied by a red wine from the cellar. The dinner concludes with Taylor Fladgate Vintage Port 2007, whose richness and complexity provide a classic pairing for chocolate crémeux.
